The Q-Series child dummies were developed through collaborative research projects such as CREST, CHILD, CASPER, and EPOC. They are used in Regulation R129, GB27887 and various consumer rating procedures worldwide.
Specific design features include the anatomical representation of body regions, a modular design set-up, dummy-interchangeable instrumentation, multi-directional use for front and side impact and easy handling properties.
The series consists of 6 dummies Q0, Q1, Q1.5, Q3, Q6 and Q10 representing children of different age. For the Q10, two versions, Q10A and Q10B exist where Q10B involves updates related to belt routing and mass distribution.
